About Us

Covina Hills Sports Medicine is a Medicare certified facility, founded in 2001, in Covina, California and relocated to San Dimas, California in 2005. We are currently located on the campus of San Dimas Community Hospital. Our mission is to provide the highest quality of care through the one-on-one intervention of a licensed physical therapist equipped with an extensive knowledge of human anatomy, physiology and biomechanics in a professional and caring environment. We promote the full body wellness of our patients through individualized treatments so that you can feel better, be stronger and move better. Our success is based on our reputation with referring physicians who seek the very best for their patients.

The therapists at Covina Hills Sports Medicine have unique training and experience in the field of sports medicine and performing arts medicine. We treat athletes from the surrounding high schools and universities and are the official therapists for the Inland Pacific Ballet Company, based in Montclair. We also remain active in academics as adjunct faculty in the Department of Physical Therapy at Azusa Pacific University and provide on-site residency training for doctoral candidates.

Specialized services provided at Covina Hills Sports Medicine include Anodyne® infrared treatment of diabetic and non-diabetic peripheral neuropathy as part of a full program of treatment inlcluding fall prevention and lifestyle education. In accordance with recent advances in back rehabilitation and our own ongoing research, we employ innovative approaches to lumbar stabilization strengthening for spinal disorders and recovery following surgery.We also provide computerized strength testing with the BIODEX® Isokinetic System for the purpose of determining deficits and charting progress during recovery.
